Initiative will develop innovative businesses with potential for global impact.

Boost the creation of innovative business with global impact potential is one of the mais goals of the Go.GlobalX Program. Released this wednesday, october 28, the iniciative is the result of a partnership between Sebrae, Unicred and the three Universities that are part of the Alliance for Innovation: Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) e University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos), through their technological parks.

80 business ideas will be selected to participate of the acceleration, wich is directed to potential entrepreneurs, entrepreuners and researchers with an idea that fits the criteria established in the regulation: innovation, market, team, consistency and project feasbility. During the Program, that will have duration of one year, the teams will have acess to mentoring with professionals linked to innovation ecosystem partners and guests from Brazil and abroad. The teams will also be able to use spaces and services available by the program partners to auxiliate the development of their projects.

According to the Relationship and Business Manager from Tecnopuc, Rafael Prikladnicki, the Go.GlobalX is the materialization of a dream proposed by the Alliance for Innovation. “This is a front of colaborative construction that will act harmonically, sharing spaces and services between the three parks, involving more than 15 thousand people and 250 companies. We want to tranform our region in abetter place to live”.

The UFRGS Zenit Park director, Roberta Bussamara, believes in potential of Rio Grande do Sul’s innovation ecosystem and in the creation of intelligent and creative solutions. “This union represents an important opportunity, essencial for the development of the project. We can help entrepreneurial minds to transform their ideas in business”. For the Member of the Strategic Committee of the Alliance for Innovation and Dean of Innovation and Institutional Relations at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Geraldo Jotz, te iniciative glimpse a better future. “The Go.GlobalX represents the search for a better society. This is a colaboratve event very important, that comes up in a complicated moment, because of the Covid-19”.

The Director of Products and Technology at Unicred do Brasil, Luis Schuler,  highlighted the institution’s commitment as a new business development partner. “We are facing an opportunity to come up with solutions that can make a difference in RS and in the world. We will make our technical team available to actively participate in all stages of the program”.

According to the Superintendent Director at Sebrae RS, André Vanoni de Godoy, supporting small businesses and stimulating entrepreneurship is in the institution’s DNA. “It is by stimulating the creation of new companies and businesses, that we are going to lead a sustainable future for the development of the State. We see great potential in Go.GlobalX, which will stimulate the creation of startups inserted in the knowledge economy ”.

DETAILS AND REGISTRATION

After the first presentation, the Innovation Project Manager at Sebrae RS, Gustavo Moreira, presented the details of the Go.GlobalX Program. “It is a great opportunity to transform scientific knowledge into business, aiming at the global market and getting closer to ecosystems that are a reference in the country”.

During an year, the program will count with four stages: ideation, validation, traction and scale. Registragions must be made on the Glut platform (http://bit.ly/GoGlobalx) until november 30.
