Finep support lines for startups is the theme of the 11th bootcamp of the BRDE Labs Program

The 11th bootcamp of the BRDE Labs Program acceleration stage was held last Thursday, the 29th. The event brought the Development Analyst – South Region at the Financier of Studies and Projects – Finep, Bruno Rodrigues Camargo, to talk about the lines of institution support for startups.

One of the main financiers, supporters and inducers of innovation in Brazil, Finep is a Brazilian public company whose mission is to promote the economic and social development of Brazil by publicly promoting Science, Technology and Innovation in companies, universities, technological institutes and other public or private institutions.

During the bootcamp, Rodrigues talked about all the opportunities that Finep offers to the startups. Stands out the programs Finep Startup, Centelha, Finep Tecnova, Finep Inovacred and Innovative Women (Mulheres Inovadoras).

One of Finep Startup’s goals, for example, is to support new technology-based companies, which have a fundamental role introducing new technologies and business models in the market. “Also, we provide financial resources so that startups with high growth potential can face initial challenges and contribute to job creation and income generation”, he explains.

In the end, it was realised a chat so everyone could clarify their doubts and discuss imporant subjects in relation to the presented programs.

Who participated: Representatives of BRDE, VENTIUR, three universities from the Alliance for Innovation – UFRGS, PUCRS and Unisinos and entrepreneurs from the 12 startups selected for the acceleration stage of the BRDE Labs Program: 2Metric, Besouro Agency, BioIn, DigiFarmz, , Elysios, Essent Agro, Faba, Insumo Fácil, Palma Sistemas, Polvo Spot, Optim and Talos.
